- A recent passport-style photo on a white or blue background. No selfies.
- Keep your face in the centre: the tool crops around the middle.
- Signature: black or blue pen on white paper, signed large. Take the photo close to the signature.
FAQ
Is my photo sent to your server?
No. The resizing happens entirely in your phone or computer browser. The photo is never uploaded or saved.
What is the TNPSC photo size?
Per TNPSC instructions: photo 165 × 125 pixels (height × width), 30–40 KB; signature 80 × 125 pixels, 20–30 KB, JPG. Individual notifications can differ, so check the one you are applying for.
What is the PAN card photo size?
For the Protean (NSDL) online form: photo 3.5 × 2.5 cm at 200 DPI, up to 20 KB; signature 2 × 4.5 cm, up to 10 KB. This tool converts that to pixels (197 × 276 and 354 × 157).
My file comes out below the minimum KB. What does the tool do?
Some forms ask for a minimum size. The tool then adds an empty comment block inside the JPEG to raise the size. The picture is unchanged and the file is still a valid JPEG.
