For many years, LG has initiated the press day at CES with its first event of the morning, and 2026 will continue this tradition. The South Korean corporation has themed its presentation as 'Innovation in Tune with You.' Following the pattern of previous years, the event is expected to cover both the consumer electronics and large appliance sectors of its extensive global operations.
As with most technology-focused events today, artificial intelligence (AI) will serve as a central theme during LG's presentation at CES 2026. Notably, LG has adopted its own unique term for AI, referring to it as 'Affectionate Intelligence.' The company intends to present 'its vision for elevating daily life through Affectionate Intelligence — delivering harmonized and seamlessly connected customer experiences.' This indicates that LG aims to enhance the connectivity and automation features of its devices.
How to Watch LG's CES 2026 Presentation
The event is scheduled to be streamed live from Las Vegas on Monday, January 5 at 11 AM ET. Viewers can tune in via several platforms: the LG website, the LG Global YouTube channel, or the LG Global X channel. (The stream will be embedded here once it becomes available on the channel.)
What to Expect
According to a press release, LG will showcase its 'portfolio of AI-powered solutions that combine world-class devices and solutions with advanced AI core technologies.' While this description may sound generic and similar to offerings from other CES press events, LG has also revealed more specific details regarding its plans for CES 2026.
One of the highlights will be the introduction of LG's first Micro RGB TV, which utilizes advanced screen technology featuring multicolor backlights, potentially surpassing mini LED displays. This new TV will be available in sizes of 100 inches, 86 inches, and 75 inches.
