LG is set to unveil its latest innovation, the canvas-style art television named the LG Gallery TV, at CES 2026. This new model will come in two sizes: 55 inches and 65 inches, and it boasts a sleek flush-mount design complemented by customizable magnetic frames.
The Gallery TV is equipped with a Mini LED display and utilizes LG's Alpha 7 AI processor, providing stunning 4K resolution. Additionally, the model will make use of the LG Gallery+ service, a subscription-based platform that offers access to a library of over 4,500 artworks that users can showcase on the TV. Users will also have the capability to create custom images using generative AI or display pictures from their personal photo collections.
According to LG, the TV was developed in collaboration with museum curators and will include a Gallery Mode that enhances brightness and color to highlight the texture of the displayed artwork. The TV's display is designed to manage reflections and reduce glare, although specific details regarding these features have not been disclosed. Furthermore, the TV will automatically adjust its picture settings to optimize image quality in response to varying ambient light conditions throughout the day.
This announcement marks LG's continued commitment to art-inspired television technology. In 2020, the company released the ultra-thin OLED model known as the LG GX Gallery TV. LG has previously introduced other models with a "Gallery Design" that allows for wall-flush mounting, but the new LG Gallery TV aims to directly compete with similar products such as Samsung's "The Frame" and Hisense's CanvasTV.
